I have over 15 years of experience working with animals. I am internationally certified in dog training specializing in enrichment directed animal training. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Agriculture and Life Science with a concentration in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare at Virginia Tech. I received my dual Bachelor's of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in Environmental Studies and Psychology where I assisted in research on the translocation and overwintering of the eastern box turtle. More recently, I worked as a herpetological research assistant at a local nature preserve where we collected data for research on snake fungal disease as well as other herpetological population data.
